King Vision is a family- and veteran-owned optometry practice in Nacogdoches, Texas. Founded by Dr. Jacqueline L. Pierre, we provide eye care for children and adults across Nacogdoches and the surrounding East Texas communities.
Family and Veteran Owned Clinic
Dr. Pierre retired as a U.S. Navy Commander after 25 years on active duty. She returned to East Texas in 2019 to be closer to family and care for her mother. She founded King Vision in Nacogdoches, where she continues to serve through patient care and community outreach.
Today, Dr. Pierre works alongside her husband, Kelvin Adams, who manages the office and guides patients through diagnostic testing. Kashena McClelland, our Patient Services and Billing Manager, welcomes patients at the front desk and helps with insurance and billing questions.

Our Mission
We help patients of all ages protect their eye health and make informed decisions about their vision. We take time to listen, explain what we find, and recommend care that fits each patient’s needs.
Our Vision
We envision an East Texas community where people of all ages can access eye care and where people living with vision loss have support to stay independent and do what matters to them.
Our Eye Care Services
We provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and care for eye conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. We also offer dry eye care, myopia management for children, and low vision rehabilitation.
If vision loss makes it harder to read, recognize faces, or enjoy everyday activities, Dr. Pierre can help you explore magnifiers, specialized eyewear, and other tools based on what you want to do.
Community Matters
Our work extends beyond the exam room. Through the Nacogdoches Breakfast Lions Club, Dr. Pierre helps bring vision screenings to local schools. She also serves with American Legion Post 86 and supports local efforts to preserve Nacogdoches’ African American heritage. Her civic service includes serving on the city’s Zoning Board of Adjustment.
