A comprehensive eye exam can detect several eye conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other vision problems. Early detection is one of the most important ways to protect long-term vision.
Common signs you may need glasses include blurry vision, headaches, eye strain, difficulty reading, or trouble seeing at night. A comprehensive eye exam can determine the best prescription for clear and comfortable vision.
Most adults should have a comprehensive eye exam once a year. Children should also have regular eye exams to support healthy vision development and learning. Your eye doctor may recommend more frequent visits depending on age, risk factors, or existing eye conditions.
Scheduling an appointment at King Vision Optometry Clinic in Nacogdoches is simple. Patients can call the office or visit the website to request an appointment.

A comprehensive eye exam evaluates both vision and eye health. Your optometrist measures visual acuity, checks how your eyes work together, evaluates focusing ability, measures eye pressure, and examines the retina and optic nerve to detect early signs of eye disease.
